VONO 10 Year Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions
- Vono mattresses carry a 10-year local limited warranty against manufacturing defects, coils, or wire loose, broken, protrude or tear (“the Warranty Period”) from the date of delivery. All Vono divans/ bedframes come with a 1-year Warranty from the date of delivery. The mattresses, divans, and bedframes are referred as “the Product”. Headboards are not covered by the warranty
- Once the mattress is repaired or replaced, the Warranty Period will neither be renewed nor extended.
- To enjoy this Warranty, customer should complete online warranty registration within 60 days from date of delivery or show the delivery date from original receipt, with complete quality control checklist label on mattress, Customer may contact our Quality Assurance Team at 02-987-8000 ext151,152 during Mon-Fri 8.30am-17.00pm. or email us at QA.TH@hildinganders.com
- This Warranty is not transferable and is only applicable to the first/original purchaser of the Product. In claiming under this Warranty, the purchaser shall furnish to us the original proof of purchase with the original receipt.
- The Warranty only covers defects in workmanship or material that impact the bed's performance. Vono Thailand will repair or replace the damaged parts as well and reserves the right to use other materials with similar quality within the Warranty Period.
- The Warranty does not cover mattress fabric and change in softness and recovery time which normally associates with latex or foam over time.
- The Warranty only covers standard sizes mattresses, special size up to 198cm X 198 cm and standard size zipper mattress. (183 x198 cm)
- The Warranty does not cover any promotional free gifts or accessories from the mattress purchase at any time.
- Mattresses that are not located at the registered address which is stated in the proof of purchase will be subject to additional inspection to verify that damages are not caused by moving the mattress to a different address.
- In the following cases, the Warranty will automatically become invalid:
- Misuse or negligent use, e.g. sitting on the edge of the mattress, standing, or jumping on the mattress. Prolong sitting or standing on the edges of the mattress may cause damage to the borders or frame of the mattress which is not covered by the warranty. (Please refer to the information on next section – “Mattress Maintenance and Care”.
- Wilful damage.
- Using of the mattress other than for domestic use (e.g. storage, outdoor activities, etc.).
- Normal wear and tear e.g. body impression on upholstery within 1.5 inches.
- Using an inappropriate bedframe or foundation (e.g. insufficient bedframe support, slatted bedframe).
- Problems caused by natural environment e.g. humidity, all kind of insects, bacteria, Mold, fungi, or damage caused by liquid penetration, cleaning, high power vacuum or the use of cleaning agents.
- Damage caused by natural disasters e.g. fire, flood, earthquake, etc.
- Damage due to repair or removal by unauthorized person.
- Damage caused by forcing mattress through a narrow door, narrow passage, elevator, staircase, etc.
- Residual of wool caused by electrostatic or usage of high-power vacuum.
- Personal health, preferences, and requirements e.g. firmness, comfort, and odour.
- Display item or mattress sold “as is”.
- The mattress is in any unsanitary condition, e.g., due to blood or bodily fluids, stains, soiling and infestation
- This Warranty is only applicable to Thailand.
- Upon any manufacturing defects reported by the purchaser during the Warranty Period, Vono Thailand will ask the purchaser to send information and photos for inspection free of charge and if the purchaser asks for a site inspection shall be conducted subject to payment of an inspection fee of 1,500 THB (“Inspection Fee”) only in Bangkok and boundary, for the upcountry province the inspection fee will charge upon to distance. (10THB/km.) The Inspection Fee is refundable only if the outcome of the inspection confirms the manufacturing defect.
- We shall decide whether to repair or replace the mattress. The cost of transportation for repair and replacement (as the case may be) shall be borne by the purchaser. Transportation fees 1,500 THB/pc.
- In respect of a valid claim lodged within the Warranty Period, the fee for repairing or replacing a mattress is as follows: (Vono Thailand reserves the right to set the latest recommended retail price)
- During the 1st & 2nd year: Replacement will be given free of charge;
- During the 3rd year : 30% of latest recommended retail price;
- During the 4th year : 40% of latest recommended retail price
- During the 5th year : 50% of latest recommended retail price; and
- During the 6th - 10th years : 60% of latest recommended retail price.
- The number of years mentioned above is counted from the date of delivery. The above fee (if any) is exclusive of the charges mentioned in Clauses 12&13 above.
- Vono Thailand reserves the right to vary and amend any of the above terms and conditions without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason thereof and without any compensation whatsoever.
